Welcome to Star Recovery. These Terms of Service govern the use of vehicle recovery and breakdown services provided by Starjunk Ltd (trading as Star Recovery), registered in England and Wales under Company Number #12839052.

1. Services Provided

We provide 24/7 emergency vehicle recovery, roadside assistance, towing, battery jump starts, tyre changes, fuel delivery, and vehicle transport services across London and the Home Counties.

2. Service Availability & Response Times

• We aim to reach customers within 30-60 minutes, but response times are estimates and not guaranteed.
• Delays due to traffic, extreme weather, road accidents, or high demand are beyond our reasonable control.
• We reserve the right to refuse service in hazardous conditions or if the vehicle is being used for illegal activities.

3. Pricing & Payment

• Initial quotes provided via phone or WhatsApp are based on the information provided by the customer.
• Final charges may vary based on actual distance, time spent on-site, or the use of specialized equipment (e.g., skates, winching).
• Payment Terms: Payment is due immediately upon completion of the service. We accept cash, major credit/debit cards, and bank transfers.

4. Customer Responsibilities

The customer or their authorized representative must:

• Provide the exact location and accurate vehicle details.
• Ensure the vehicle is accessible for our recovery equipment.
• Remove all personal valuables from the vehicle before recovery begins.
• Disclose any known pre-existing damage or mechanical faults.

5. Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations should be made immediately.
• If a recovery vehicle has already been dispatched to your location, a cancellation fee (Call-out charge) will apply to cover costs incurred.

6. Liability & Insurance

• Starjunk Ltd is fully insured for "Goods in Transit" and Public Liability.
• We are not liable for pre-existing mechanical failures or bodywork damage.
• Our liability is strictly limited to the direct costs of the service provided or damage caused by proven negligence during our handling.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
